Computer Assistant      

Position:

Part-time Computer Assistant at the Main Library in the Automation department.

Duties:

The Computer Assistant provides instruction and assistance to the public and staff on computer software available on the public computers at the library, computer equipment, and the Internet. This is an at-will position with no guarantee of hours week to week. Full Job Description

Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to use office productivity software, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other multimedia software packages; knowledge of Photoshop and downloading photos from digital cameras; demonstrated competency with information technology including the Internet, social media and mobile devices; ability to work with the public in a tactful, courteous manner.

Hours:

Includes evening and weekend (Saturday/Sunday) hours.

Salary:

$9.45 - $11.28 per hour
